What is FLIS?

The Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) is the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency's master catalog of over 16 million NATO Stock Numbers. Every supply item is described with coded fields — DEMIL, AAC, MOE, shelf-life, unit of issue and hundreds more — defined in the FLIS published code dictionary.
